GoldFax Connector for Microsoft Exchange

GoldFax provides an easy way to integrate GoldFax into your company's Microsoft Exchange email server environment. Simply install this component of the GoldFax solution, and your users can be sending and receiving faxes from their email client in no time.

There is no client software added to their PC, it's all done on the server side, so your administration costs are minimal.

Sending faxes from your Outlook client is easy. Create a new email message, click the To: button to select the contacts directly from Microsoft Outlook Contacts. Contacts with Business fax numbers appear as names followed by (Business Fax) in the Display Name field and are listed as FAX instead of EX or SMTP email type. Or simply type in this format: [FAX:faxnumber] or [FAX: name@fax number].

Continue to type a subject, your message and add attachments. GoldFax sends a fax to the fax numbers provided, includes the Subject and message on the GoldFax Fax Cover Sheet, and converts the attachments to a fax. Users can also receive automatic email notifications of a successful and/or unsuccessful fax.

Receiving faxes into their email inbox is even easier. Faxed documents appear as email attachments, and to view them is the same as viewing any attachment to an email.

End-users will be much more productive not having to wait around fax machines, or re-faxing documents that didn't come through with all pages.
